CENTER PROFILE

Union Hill Personal Growth Center (UHPGC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation.  This corporation exists solely for the purposes in which an organization may engage as an organization qualifying as an organization exempt from federal income taxation under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954.  Organized under the Alabama Nonprofit Corporation Act, the UHPGC was incorporated on December 17, 1997 in Madison County, Alabama.  This corporation is responsible for receiving and maintaining funds and administering those funds for the fulfillment of its mission as subsumed by the unit operating under its auspices.

The UHPGC oversight responsibility is vested in a Board of Directors that has oversight responsibility for six program areas:  the Child Development Center, Auxiliary Services, Recreation Center, Counseling Center, Adult Services Center, and the Operation Nehemiah Program.
